Finally almost finished! It just need a pair of pauldrons, but they are just some details...
A Leather brigandine based on a slavic armor dated from X century
It's made with a entire chest piece of hard sole (4mm thick, but pretty hard) and over 40 8x5 boiled leather plates, riveted together.
I've tested it in battle with iron swords, and it's awesome lightweighted and strong. Seamless and articulated hip plates it's very comfortable... I'll keep that mobility when adding the pauldrons.

When you say 8x5 do you mean inches or a european measurement? (I'm only asking because im planning on making something similar, no doubt, not as cool as this one)
